SUBSTANCE: universal oscilloscope has a vertical deflection channel including an input divider, preamplifier, delay line, terminal amplifier and first piezoelectric deflector; horizontal deflection channel including synchronization amplifier, synchronization trigger, start-up circuit, sweep generator, sweep amplifier and second piezoelectric deflector; interlocking circuit; analogue-to-digital converter including a light diode, objective lens, slot diaphragm, quantizing linear array of light guides, a group of photodetectors, encoder and indication unit; time interval measuring units, register, a group of OR gates, switch, counter, pulse shaper, frequency multiplier, decoder, opaque screen. The oscilloscope provides both automatically measuring signal amplitude and automatically measuring time intervals with representation of the results of measurements in a digital form.
