FIELD: seismology. SUBSTANCE: seismograph has sealed case housing mounting, pendulum, damper, converter of pendulum movements, unit of compensation of moment of gravity force, unit of rolling, communication elements and element of transmission of information to dispatcher's point. All elements anchored on pendulum in addition to their fundamental functions create additional moment of inertial directed to decrease of resonance frequency due to peripheral arrangement in symmetry with reference to center of gravity of pendulum. Case of device apart from protective functions participates in creation of decrease of torque-to-weight ratio of own resonance frequency of mounting thanks to use of attachment system and thanks to easy press-fitting of mounting into case. Space-saving arrangement of units is caused by choice of shape of pendulum: titanium tube with bevelled butts and technological and attachment holes and by manufacture of unit of rolling - pair of blades, one made fast to cylindrical pendulum, the other one coupled to mounting. Blades are mounted in opposition for setting of axial line of their edges of rounding along one straight line. EFFECT: expanded application field to monitoring and recording of vibrational translations of Earth's crust. 6 dwg
