FIELD: measuring equipment engineering, possible use in devices for recording horizontal oscillations of earth generated by seismic waves supplied from sources of natural and artificial origin.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, seismograph contains inert mass and its shoulder up to swaying axis, extended pendulum shoulder with magnetically soft ring on its end with radius, equal to extended pendulum shoulder, while the mass of magnetically soft ring is supposed to be significantly less than inert mass and cylindrical magnetic system of TTT-shaped cross-section is introduced in form of assembly of central constant magnet of cylindrical shape, included in cylindrical yoke of magnetically soft material, axis of aforementioned system being at a distance of extended pendulum shoulder radius and being connected to the body and mounted below the magnetically soft ring, the latter having expanded swell at lower edge in place of connection to extended shoulder, transformer of pendulum system oscillations to electric signal and electric signal amplifier.
EFFECT: prevented deforming influence of side component of gravitation force of magnetically soft rotation surface to TTT-shaped cylindrical magnetic system on pendulum suspension elements, ensuring increased reliability of seismograph operation with simultaneous increase in period of native oscillations.
