Abstract RU 2031287 C1

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: sealing member with C-shaped cross-section is fitted in ring seat grooves made in surface to be sealed. The convex side of the sealing member points to the side opposite to the internal space of the unit. Walls of the grooves are conical from the side of the internal space of the unit. The tops of the cones face each other. To fit the sealing member with guaranteed interference, the smallest inner diameter of the member is less than the largest diameter of the inner wall of the groove. High contact stresses and unloading of the center of the sealing member are provided. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
