FIELD: medical technique, namely ultrasonic investigation of human brain. SUBSTANCE: echoencephaloscope has ultrasonic probes 1,2; unit 3 for processing echobiosignals; the interface 4; the universal computer 6, provided by the key board 8, by the display 7 and by the printer 9; and the pedal 5, connected with the interface 4. The interface 4 includes timing generator, a buffer operative memory; a writing-reading address counter, a unit for controlling process of writing - reading, a control register, address decoder, a starting pulse shaper, a pedal state register. A first input of the timing generator is connected with the unit for processing echobiosignals, its second input is joined with a first input of the unit for controlling writing-reading process, whose output is connected with an input of the writing-reading address counter and second input is connected with the first output of the address decoder. The pedal is connected with the first input of the pedal state register, whose output is joined with an input of a control signal of the universal computer and whose second input- with the second output of the address decoder, whose input is connected with an address bus of the universal computer. A third input of the address decoder is joined with a first input of the control register, whose second input is connected with a data bus of the universal computer and its first output - with the starting pulse shaper. Second, third and forth outputs of the control register are connected with the unit for processing echobiosignals. Outputs of the starting pulse shaper are connected with the unit for processing echobiosignals. An output of the writing-reading address counter is joined with the first input of the buffer operative memory, whose second input is connected with the unit for processing echobiosignals and output - with a bus of the universal operative computer. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of measuring distances between main structures of brain. 1 cl, 5 dwg
