FIELD: neurosurgery and pediatric surgery. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of using as a plastic material a large breech muscle with its own fascia and aponeurosis, which in a zone of its transition to a wide fascia of s hip near greater trochanter of femur, displacing its separated end to a side of a hernia outlet, closing it over all area, and suturing it to edges of the defect and to surrounding it fascia-aponeurosis tissues of an opposite side. EFFECT: prevention of postoperative complications such as prolapse of soft tissues and liquorrhea in a zone of the hernia plasty; keeping of support-motor function of vertebral column and adjacent to it muscle-aponeurosis tissue around bone defect of a rear wall of vertebral passage; enhanced closing of bone defect, blood supply and innervation of plasty material. 1 cl, 4 dwg
