FIELD: organic chemistry. SUBSTANCE: PVC is an emulsion or microsuspension PVC. The process comprises molding powdery PVC and subsequently heating it at a temperature of higher than 180 C. Prior to the molding operation, granulation is effected to obtain a fraction having a granule size of 0.2-4.0 mm and the molding operation is effected in the free state or in the form of a layer of 4-16 mm high. The layer is then heated at 190-300 C for 3-15 minutes. EFFECT: improved properties of the porous material. 1 tbl
