FIELD: systems for controlling or regulating. SUBSTANCE: flow rate regulator has housing with the inlet and outlet valves interconnected via a regulating valve defined by port-seat and flexible plate positioned above it. One end of the plate is secured to the housing and the other, free end, is in contact with the bearing surface of the member for adjusting flexible plate. The bearing surface is flat and inclined to the port-seat. The bearing surface of the adjusting member can be made up as a parabolic profile. The adjusting member can change position of the bearing surface with respect to the port-seat and is kinematically connected with flow rate governor having a controlled drive. The flow rate regulator also has a locator of initial deflection of the flexible plate which is constructed as a pressing screw with a controlled overhang and mounted in the middle part of the plate. The free end of the flexible plate is pressed to the bearing surface of the adjusting member by springs positioned on its both sides. EFFECT: enhanced functional capability. 4 cl, 3 dwg
