FIELD: feed production. SUBSTANCE: steam formed in grain processing by heated rolls is condensed when contacting baffle 12. Moisture flows from baffle in form of V-shaped plate to moisten surface of rolls. Intensive evaporation from heated rolls takes place and steam penetrates into internal structure of grains. Sp simultaneously with flattening and roasting, treatment with steam takes place. Baffle is continuously cooled with flow of grain supplied for processing. Formed in working zone under steady conditions is closed cycle of steam production. Excessive steam is discharged through pipe provided with regulator of flow intensity.
