FIELD: production of groats intermediate products treated with heat by bursting. SUBSTANCE: the claimed device for grain heat treatment includes rotating plate carrying heat generator mounted on heat insulator and covered with heat conducting disk which functions as rotary conveyor. Immovably mounted on disk is sliding cover above which casing is secured by means of sealed flexible collar to form chamber for steam between casing and cover. casing is connected with reciprocation drive. Steam chamber is connected with ambient atmosphere through valves with pressure regulator. Made in cover is spiral hollow for heat treatment of grain. Spiral hollow inlet is connected with loading hopper batcher and unloading hopper is located at the end of spiral hollow outlet. Spiral hollow is connected with steam chamber by means of channels made in wall-ribs through gap between disk and base of wall-rib. Channels in opposite wall-ribs are staggered.
