FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: strip-wound core made of iron-based magnetic alloy contains Cu, Mo, Nb, Si, B at the following relation of constituents, atomic percent: copper - 0.5 to 2.0; molybdenum - 0.5 to 5.0; niobium - 0.001 to 4.5; silicon - 5 to 18; boron - 4 to 12; iron - the rest; the sum of the molybdenum and niobium constituents is within 2 to 5 atomic percent. Provision is made for variants of cores with a high saturation induction and low sensitivity to external stresses, containing in the structure at least 50% of crystals measuring less than 100 nm, and coated with a film of molybdenum oxide, at least 5 nm thick. EFFECT: improved design. 9 cl, 3 tbl
