FIELD: acceleration equipment. SUBSTANCE: target unit for pulse linear resonance ion acceleration having frequency F includes vacuum-tight case 1 with hole to let beam 2 fly connected to vacuum system which incorporates re-charge chamber 4 fitted with means to feed and discharge gas and to control its pressure in chamber, perforated ring 7 with 2n pair-coaxial holes 8 which axes are located in one plane with axes of flight holes of case and re-charge chamber. Ring embraces chamber and is provided with drive 9 for its rotation coupled to system 10 of accelerator synchronization. Target unit is supplemented with additional ring with opposite holes to let beam fly which embraces coaxially perforated ring. EFFECT: simplified design, improved reliability. 1 dwg
