FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: during operative intervention one-third of liver surface being in contact with omentum is affected by cryogenic attack. Said attack is carried out by decreasing temperature in parenchyma of liver to +20 C. EFFECT: decreases portal hypertension.
