FIELD: medicine, surgery. SUBSTANCE: short gastric veins and branches of left gastric arteries and a vein are ligated. A valve is formed out of mucous-submucous esophageal and gastric membranes. Serous-muscular gastric membrane and muscular esophageal one are dissected in the form of oval. Interrupted sutures are applied from the upper edge of dissected muscular esophageal membrane towards the lower edge of dissected serous-muscular gastric membrane. Tissues located between fastened edges are put into the gastric lumen. An angle of 30 deg. is formed between esophagus and fundic gastric department. The method enables to prevent esophageal reflux.
