FIELD: hydrostatic pressing . SUBSTANCE: method involves loading powder into a bag of a film or film-like material in the form of a hose 6 which is first slipped on a loading pipe 2. Then hose throat is fixed and its bottom is sealed by, for example, a wire clamp, the assembled press-mold is positioned under the hose on vibration exciter 3. Powder is delivered through loading pipe 2 into the bottom part of the hose 6. The filling of the hose 6 with powder is started by weight and the hose 6 with powder is lowered into the press-mold. As the press-mold is completely filled with powder and after vibratory compaction, the hose throat is preliminarily sealed with wire clamps 8 in two places spaced in height, then cut off from the hose portion slipped on the pipe 2. Press-mold is placed into a hydrostat 4 and the powder is pressed by the pressure of liquid. The blank is withdrawn complete with the bag. In this state the blank can be either stored or transported for further treatment. EFFECT: the method and device reduce the duration of the pressing cycle, curtail the manufacturing costs and improve ecology. 9 cl, 3 dwg
