FIELD: graphite materials. SUBSTANCE: artificial graphite and pitch are used to prepare blend, which is then pressed and obtained stock is heat treatment: preliminarily at 250-300 C and finally at 1000 ± 50 C for 10-20 h to yield carbon stock with uniformly distributed transport pores and high interphase strength. Obtained carbon stock is subject to manufacture products which, after siliconizing, are characterized with high yield of valid items (by 20-40% higher than in known methods), and with compression strength increased by a factor 1.4-1.7.
