FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: piece thermal treatment provides for austenitizing with Ac3+(60-100°C) and cooling with speed, providing austenite safety till temperature of , under which holding is exercised, with - temperature of austenite minimum stability in sphere of ferrite-pearlite transformation. Cooling to temperature of holding is exercised by running water or in bath with temperature of . In case holding is exercised until full dissociation of austenite, then final cooling is carried out with arbitrary speed. In case holding is exercised until no less than 70 % dissociation of austenite, then final cooling is carried out slowly. EFFECT: production of pearlite without piece geometry distortion, with increased stability and cold-resistance of mechanical properties complex and without decrease of level of strength and ductility. 5 cl, 1 dwg
