FIELD: oil producing industry. SUBSTANCE: based on the data of field drilling, formation inhomogeneity along its strike on its separate sections and on each of them is defined more accurately with consideration of energetic criteria relation. Moment of change from injection of heat carrier (e. g., hot water) to nonheated water for maintaining or increasing the formation pressure and temperature is determined. At the moment of changing over, certain depression on formation is created which does not affect the dynamics of oil recovery. Time of changing over from heat carrier injection to injection of nonheated water and created in this case depression are determined with consideration of special conditions in compliance with procedure indicated in present method. EFFECT: savings in energy and resources and preserved dynamics of oil recovery rates. 2 cl
