FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics. SUBSTANCE: method involves modelling the head of metacarpal or metatarsal bone in the form of a mushroom having its base near the proximal end of the bone. A canal is formed in spongy substance of the distal part of the metacarpal or metatarsal bone corresponding in form to the mushroom base. The base is introduced into the canal. Cicatricial tissue is exsected to accomplish plasty with available skin transplant. EFFECT: accelerated restoration of the extremity functions. 2 cl, 4 dwg
