FIELD: production of fresh water. SUBSTANCE: system is based on employment of natural power carriers and natural conditions. Used as evaporator- distiller is natural water basin or artificial pond at salinity of water exceeding that of starting water provided with floating balls and flexible closed limiter located over periphery of evaporator- distiller; limiter is also used for locking the ball to one another. Pipe lines and technological water manifolds are provided on side of intake facilities and water basin and evaporator- distiller with chambers for facilities, separators and devices fitted in lines. System is provided with film covering the evaporation mirror of natural water basin or artificial pond; this film is provided with floats and perforations for draining the accumulated brine into water basin; unsinkable balls are fitted on the film to increase water evaporation area.
