ILLUMINATING DEVICE WITH ADJUSTABLE FITTING Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2035006 C1

FIELD: illumination of rooms. SUBSTANCE: device has a holder for fittings provided with a light source, fastening units for spiral flexible belts, which are movable and fixed with respect to the light source, and mechanism for locking the movable unit in a given position. Refraction members are suspended on the belts. The movable unit is coupled with a rod slide coaxially mounted in the piping holder for permitting rotation and longitudinal movement. The locking mechanism is mounted at the free end of the piping holder in a kinematical pair with a slide having two degrees of freedom. The locking mechanism is constructed as a bushing with the ratchet wheel wherein the slide is coaxially received for permitting longitudinal movement and fixing in the given position by a stop screw, spring-loaded member with eyes and projections being used. The eyes and projection engage cogs of the ratchet wheel. The member is mounted inside the housing with the cover having arrested rotation. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
