FIELD: environment protection. SUBSTANCE: process includes loading of radioactive and toxic waste together with fluxing additives in furnace of "cold type" with induction heating and melting of mixture. Foam formation is registered by decrease of current frequency in inductor foam formation is suppressed by way of reduction of electric power by 10-20% and by keeping mixture in furnace up to moment of restoration of initial current frequency in inductor. After this electric power of induction furnace is raised to its initial value. EFFECT: improved protection of environment.
