FIELD: systems for protecting injures to occupants. SUBSTANCE: device for tension of safety belt has the linear drive of the piston cylinder activated by a pyrotechnical gas generator. The drive is mounted for permitting rocking in the bearing housing between fixed position and disconnected position. The linear drive of the piston cylinder is an inertia mass which is sensitive to a vehicle. The mass is loaded with a force of preliminary tension of a spring in the direction of the fixed position and exerted by inertia forces at the disconnected position during braking. The gas generator is provided with a shock detonator. The shock member, which is spring-loaded with a spring, is mounted on the bearing housing. The member is provided with the detonating pin for impacting on the shocking detonator and is held by abutting against the bearing surface of the linear drive of the piston cylinder at the readiness position.
