FIELD: shipbuilding. SUBSTANCE: propeller is made in form of cassette consisting of odd number of hydrofoils 1,2,7 arranged one after another and two vertical fixed stanchions 4 rigidly interconnected by means of shindles 3 of all hydrofoils but for central hydrofoil 7 secured on movable spindle 8 connected with power drive. Axes of rotation of each two adjacent hydrofoils 1 and 2 are shifted to different sides from center of pressure through equal distances. All hydrofoils 1,2,7 are articulated to vertical rigid rods 12 in their tail portion. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 3 dwg
