FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: bacteriophage strain is isolated which is deposited in Collection NII OCHB at number SF-1/36. Preparation used for salmonellosis prophylaxis and treatment has in 1 ml aqueous solution: 10⁶-10¹⁰ phage particles, 10^-3-10^-4 g quinosol, 0.2-0.5 g aminopeptide. Preparation is used by orally route, adding to drink (10⁶ phage particles per a day (not less), or in the form of aerosol treating infected object with aqueous solution containing 10⁸ particles per 1 ml (not less), by spraying the latter or by combination of two methods. Use of method ensures to decrease poultry murrain by 20-100%. EFFECT: increased antisalmonellosis effectiveness of preparation. 4 cl
