FIELD: homogenization of liquid and viscous products. SUBSTANCE: laboratory homogenizer comprises a casing accommodating a reduction unit and a means for converting rotary-to-reciprocating motion, an electric motor and a homogenizing device secured on said casing. Homogenizing device has a plunger with sealing members, homogenizing and suction valves, and a pressure gauge. Besides, the device has also a power half-frame and a unit for gradual stroke adjustment of the plunger secured on said half-frame. The rotary-to-reciprocating motion converter is a single-stage globoid-worm reduction unit. Installed eccentrically on the side surface of the globoid gear of said reduction unit is a cylindrical pusher on a bearing. The homogenizing device comprises a casing with a through cavity accommodating a plunger with sealing members and a homogenizing valve, both enveloped by a cooling jacket connected to the external cooling circuit. The laboratory homogenizer is provided with a second identical homogenizing device connected with the rotary-to-reciprocating motion converter which permits combining homogenization with disintegration of the handled products.
