FIELD: food, pharmaceutic and chemical industries. SUBSTANCE: homogenizing valve has a set with sharp edge and a hole accommodating a gate. Circular groove of rectangular cross-section is made in the valve seat between the sharp edge and the hole, and radial grooves for the outlet of homogenized emulsion are provided in the seat hole. The solid angle of the gate conical surface is form 60 to 150 deg. Metal sealing gasket is fixed in the circular groove on the front surface of the seat. The seat material hardness is at least 1200 MPa, and the hardness of the gate material is from 300 to 1500 MPa. The roughness of the surfaces forming the sharp edge of the seat and the conical end part of the gate is R_z=160-80 μm to R_z=6,3-3,2 μm.
