FIELD: cultural and welfare facilities. SUBSTANCE: method for forming a three-dimensional body involves constructing said body from seven rings of which four have the form of a hoop from flexible strip and the remaining three are octagonal in the form of a square with beveled corners also made of a flexible strip. This is done by forming two pairs from the first four rings by installing one ring into the other, putting one pair of rings into the other one followed by installing the remaining three rings on these pairs. Then the rings can be connected either separably or integrally with or without the use of fasteners. The device for forming a three-dimensional body comprises seven interconnected rings of which four have the shape of a flexible strip hoop while the other three are octagonal in the form of a square with beveled corners and radial holes. The first four rings are disposed pairwise at an angle of 60 deg and perpendicularly to one another with a possibility for forming square-shaped cells while the three remaining rings are installed in relatively-perpendicular planes along cell diagonals. The rings can be connected either by separable or inseparable joints. EFFECT: higher entertainment. 2 cl, 4 dwg
