FIELD: cultural and welfare facilities. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming a three-dimensional body from seven rings of which four are dodecahedral in the form of a regular hexagon with beveled corners made from flexible strip and the three remaining ones are made in the form of a hoop from flexible strip by making two pairs from the first four rings with one ring installed into the other, positioning one pair of rings in the other one and installing the remaining three rings on the first four ones. Then the rings can be connected either separably or inseparably with or without the use of fastening members. The device for forming a three-dimensional body comprises seven interconnected rings of which four are dodecahedral in the form of a regular hexagon with beveled corners from flexible strip and the remaining three in the form of a flexible strip hoop with radial holes in the rings. The first four rings are arranged pairwise at an angle of 60 deg and perpendicularly in pairs to each other with a possibility for forming square-shaped cells while the other three rings are installed in relatively-perpendicular planes along cell diagonals.
