SUBSTANCE: method involves forming a three-dimensional body from seven rings of which four have the shape of a regular hexagon with bevels at the corners, made from flexible strip with or without radial holes and the other three rings are square-shaped with beveled corners, made from flexible strip with or without radial holes. The first four rings are installed pairwise one into the other at an angle to each other, then one pair of rings is installed into the other pair relatively perpendicular to the rings in the different pairs with a possibility of forming square-shaped cells after which the remaining three rings are installed on these rings in succession in relatively perpendicular planes along the cell diagonals, so that said remaining three rings can be connected , one after another, at the points of their contact. The device for forming a three-dimensional body comprises seven rings, four of which have the shape of a regular hexagon beveled at the corners and the remaining three have the shape of a square with beveled corners, all these rings being made of a flexible strip with radial holes. The first four rings are arranged pairwise at an angle of 60 deg and in pairs perpendicularly to one another with a possibility of forming square cells while the other three rings are installed on the first four rings in relatively perpendicular planes along the cell diagonals.
