FIELD: tyre industry. SUBSTANCE: toothed rack of stitcher turning mechanism is mounted at angle to horizontal axis passing through centers of gear wheels. Thread is made at two opposite sides of toothed rack. Each gear installed on carriages which can have threaded holes. Guides are made in form of rods with threaded sections on ends engaging with threaded holes of carriages, each forming screw pair with rod. Toothed rack reciprocating drive can be made in form of three power cylinders two of which are installed concentrically. Third power cylinder is installed coaxially with two concentric cylinders. Piston of first concentrically installed power cylinder has rod. Piston of second concentrically installed power cylinder is made circular. Out-of-rod space of first power cylinder communicates with space of second power cylinder through hole with throttle and channels. Piston of coaxially installed power cylinder is mounted for overlapping the channels. EFFECT: enhanced operation reliability. 3 cl, 5 dwg
