FIELD: drying. SUBSTANCE: device for wood drying has heat-insulated chamber with cover, heating members, steam discharging outlets, holder for fixing and placing wood into heat-insulated chamber, drive and control instruments. Device has additional latticed partition and loose heat carrier located inside heat-insulated chamber, and journals laid on current supplying bearing supports. Latticed partition is rigidly connected with inner walls of heat insulated chamber and separates chamber space into equal compartments. One of compartments contains loose heat carrier and the other has holder. Journals are rigidly connected to outer walls of heat-insulated chamber and drive. Heating members are installed along inner walls in compartments of heat-insulated chamber. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 3 dwg
