FIELD: drying technique, mainly wood piles; wood-working industry, furniture manufacture and other industries. SUBSTANCE: vacuum drying plant includes hermetic heat-insulated chamber fitted with cover heating element made in form of U- shaped pipe finned on its outside; one end of this pipe is connected with furnace and other end is brought out of chamber to smoke flue. Chamber is also provided with heat insulation laid between pipe and walls of chamber inclining towards furnace. Protective shield is mounted horizontally above furnace and front portion of pipe. Drying plant is also equipped with cooling system provided with cooling jacket, pipe line fitted with valve and temperature sensor. Condensate removal system includes chutes secured longitudinal secured longitudinally to walls of chamber at inclination relative to discharge ports in bottom of chamber which are connected with reservoir through pipe line and valve. Air supply system is fitted with pipe line provided with valve and directed to furnace and front part of pipe. Vacuum pump is connected with chamber by means of pipe line through receiver and valve.
