FIELD: wood drying techniques.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to periodic convection chambers, and can be used for drying lumber in woodworking, furniture and other industries. The drying chamber contains on one longitudinal side a fan, to which a drying agent is supplied under pressure through a pipeline, and on the opposite side - an electric fan for sucking out the drying agent from the drying volume, while a tarpaulin awning is fixed on top of the stack between the fan and the electric fan, and tents are also mounted on both sides at the bottom of the trolley, forming diffusers, while the stack on both sides is open for the passage of the drying agent through the lumber in the direction from the drying volume towards the condensation volume, inside of which a plate condenser is located, to which a pipe with a valve and cooling cold water and a pipe are connected, which removes the heated water and the cooled drying agent returns to the heater.

EFFECT: increase in the efficiency of the lumber drying process by improving the efficiency of stack blowing and reducing losses.
