FIELD: optical instrumentation engineering. SUBSTANCE: this theodolite makes it possible to account for corrections in direction to object of theodolites with stabilized sighting line. Systems 6 and 8 are inserted for simultaneous of individual change of focal distance of telescope and for magnification of microscope sending image of lines of horizontal dial 3 in field of vision of eye-piece 2 of telescope. While observing objects relation is realized, where f′ is focal distance of objective of telescope; R is radius of pitch circle of dial; V is magnification of microscope; α is inclination angle of sighting axis of telescope relative to plane of dial. EFFECT: automatic accounting for corrections. 2 dwg
