SUBSTANCE: code theodolite includes code position pickup 11 and angular position subtracter 12 connected to eye-piece micrometer 10, zenith direction and nadir pickup 13 coupled to unit 14 of determination of angle sign. Correction introduction unit 9 is manufactured in the form of cosine determination unit 15 linked to output of subtracter 7 of angular position of vertical code dial 3 and multiplier connected in series. Second output of multiplier is linked to subtracter of angular position of eye-piece micrometer 10. Code theodolite also has adder 17, which second and third inputs are connected correspondingly to subtracter 6 of angular position of horizontal code dial 2 and to unit 14 of determination of angle sign.
