FIELD: optical instrument engineering. SUBSTANCE: method is based upon simultaneous building of images by telescopic system with variable magnification and simultaneous viewing of these images with variable magnification. In this case images are built multiply by single objective and eye-piece in single-, two- and n-passing beams. Device has mirror objective 1 and mirror eye-piece 2. Axial hole 3 is made in the objective. Diameter of the hole is inversely proportional to maximal value. EFFECT: improved precision. 2 cl, 2 dwg
