FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: reactor has column partially filled with liquid dichloroethane to which chlorine, ethylene and returning dichloroethane are continuously supplied. Synthesized vaporous dichloroethane is discharged through upper union, and liquid dichloroethane containing harmful trichloroethane is discharged through lower union. Liquid phase dichloroethane overflows through upper end of circulation pipe installed along column axis, and through ports made in column middle part to lower part of circulation pipe through large and small circulation circuits. Vapor-gas phase rises to column upper part and passes through holes of perforated plates. Holes are localized on each plate in form of sections disposed on plates with displacement than extends path of gaseous components. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 6 dwg
