FIELD: wood working industry. SUBSTANCE: thick cuttings are removed with the plane tool from the hard knotty species, on the slanting cut, across the wood grains at the reduction of the force necessary to be applied to the plane tool. For the operation it is enough to press the plane tool to the processed surface. The remote control is possible. The plane tool has a housing with the main cutting member and with an extra one which has a drive for the reciprocal motion. The trajectory of the drive motion is counter-sloped to the main cutting member. The extra cutting member undercuts the processed surface and impels the plane tool in the direction of processing at the expense of the sloped-counter direction of the impact during the undercutting.
