FIELD: production of fluorine salts. SUBSTANCE: sodium silicofluoride is treated with aqueous solution of sodium carbonate with sodiumsilicofluoride-to-sodium carbonate mass ratio of 1:(2.25-2.37), process temperature of 50-60 C for 30-60 min. Silicon dioxide is separated from solution, with sodium fluoride concentration in solution maintained at the level indicated in invention description. Cryolite is precipitated from solution by means of sodium aluminate. Method allows use of sodium silicofluoride in form of byproduct of superphosphate and cryolite plants for production of cryolite of improved quality. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 tbl
