FIELD: production of aluminium-silicon alloy. SUBSTANCE: silicon-containing raw material is used in form of silica cake obtained in treatment of silicofluorine-containing solutions with aluminum hydroxide. Cake before loading into electrolyzer is heated up to 400-600 C, and, when, required, cake is mixed before heat treatment with sodium- containing component at sodium-to-aluminum mass ratio in cake equalling (1.20-2.20):1. EFFECT: extended raw material base of production of aluminium-silicon alloys, cut down production costs, alloy yield by current being 90.7% and recovery of silicon into alloy amounts to 97% 2 cl, 3 tbl
