FIELD: heat power engineering. SUBSTANCE: thermal engine has housing 1 where piston 3 with rod 4 is mounted forming hydraulic chambers 2 of variable volume. Secured rotatably on end of rod 4 is ball 5. Chamber 2 is filled with non-freezing liquid with hermetic chambers 6 inside it. Drain pipe 7 is located along axis of chamber 2. Ends of pipe 7 are brought in communication with surrounding medium. Engine has bottom 8 and cover 9 with tight seal. During assembly of engines in hydraulic unit, they are mounted on movable rods. Energy generated during motion of rod 4 is transmitted to actuating mechanism thrown into rigid engagement with engine during their synchronous motion along chain. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg
