FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: two through holes are made in cylinder head of internal combustion engine in which hollow cylinders provided with ports are fitted. outer part of cylinders is cooled by liquid. Hollow camshafts also provided with ports are inserted into cylinders. Inner diameter of camshafts is 0.1-0.8 of engine cylinder diameter, and wall thickness is 0.020-0.20 of their outer diameter. Shaped grooves for two rings are made on camshafts from outer side in zone of ports. Rings are rigidly interconnected by cross partitions used for shutting off blowy gases and removing carbon from inner surface of cylinder head. Blind ports formed by cross partitions have the following dimensions: area of ports in zone of intake and outlet ports exceeds outlet ports area by 30-40%. Other blind ports are smaller in dimensions than intake and outlet ports. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of mechanism. 3 dwg
