FIELD: metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: furnace has vacuum chamber, water-cooling crucible, electrode holder, turnable current carrier and system of water cooling. The new thing in the furnace is that crucible of furnace is made sectional and furnace is provided with vacuum condenser, made in the form of tank with water-cooling branch pipes in series connected to each other through pipes, welded to walls of tank. Lower part of condenser has mounted in it control tank, measuring capacity and collector with electromagnetic valves, separately connected with sections of crucible. In the case, current carrier is made with air-cooling steam pipe, mounted in it coaxially. EFFECT: vacuum-arc slag furnace is used in metallurgy. 2 dwg
