FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: furnace includes a detachable water-cooled crystalliser, in the bushing of which there are external and internal coaxial annular cooling chambers. In internal annular cooling chamber connected in lower part to a supply channel there installed is a spiral with possibility of circulation of cooling liquid along ascending spiral path and its flow over the upper edge of the chamber to the external cooling chamber. In upper part of the external cooling chamber there is a vertical drain channel, and in lower part of the external cooling chamber there is a bypass channel attaching it to the internal cooling chamber.
EFFECT: invention allows improving use efficiency of melting equipment owing to improving its productivity and reducing its operational costs.
