Measurements are repeated, increasing the height of explosive and inert material layers to the moment of explosion and determining the critical height of the layer of explosive Hcr by combined heights of the layers of explosives and inert material (Hexpl)cr and (Hm.mar)cr in this test, using a relation Hcr=(Hexpl)cr+ (Hm.mar)cr ρm.mar/ ρexpl where ρexpl bulk density of the explosive, ρm.mar bulk density of inert material.
