FIELD: fishing. SUBSTANCE: fish bait comprises a natural material in a porous envelope made from a material which is a semipermeable membrane, and a layer of reinforcing netting. The natural material can be selected from fish, cephalopod mollusks, fish bowels, dehydrated or frozen fish meal. It is expedient that the natural material be treated with a coloring reflecting or fluorescent material which can be applied to a strip placed inside the envelope or attached to its external surface. The bait may contain a hook and the porous envelope and reinforcing netting can be made as a solid tube which is better to divide into separate portions. It is also practicable that the natural material should have a gel-generating structure, connected with the semipermeable membrane and the latter should be made from a material based on collagen. EFFECT: the bait ensures efficient fishing for a long period of time and is simple to use. 9 cl, 6 dwg
