SUBSTANCE: device includes the trapping part having the open head end, the closed tail end and one or more side walls disposed between the head end and the tail end, and the elongated extension portion having the head end, the tail end, and one or more side walls arranged between the head end and the tail end. The tail end of the extension part is operatively connected with the head end of the trapping part. The extension part comprises a plurality of outlet elements, through which water may escape from the interior space of the device outwardly of the device, providing the total reduction of water flow rate inside the device from the head end of the extension part to the tail end of the extension part and the tail end of the trapping part when the device is immersed in a water body and there is water flow relative to the device. The outlet elements have the size sufficient for aquatic animals of the size smaller than the predetermined one, who got into the interior space of the device, to go out through the outlet elements of the interior space outwardly of the device.

EFFECT: damage minimization of caught marine animals.
