FIELD: fishing accessories. SUBSTANCE: fish bait has separate pieces of material suspended and uniformly distributed through the entire homogenized mixture of bait material and gelling agent and enclosed in supporting netted sleeve. Gelling agent is alginate. Baiting material may contain only natural material. Bait may also contain filler. Filler material may contain stratified metal silicate. Method involves mixing baiting material and gelling agent for producing substantially homogeneous mixture; adding additional baiting material into homogeneous mixture so as to suspend baiting material in homogeneous mixture; extruding suspended mixture into netted sleeve; allowing thickener to harden.
