FIELD: production of aluminium hydroxide. SUBSTANCE: aluminium hydroxide is treated with steam at temperature of 120-250 C, steam-powder mixture is condensed and thickened to obtain aqueous suspension with solid content of 50-300 g/l and sodium oxide in liquid phase in the amount of 0.05-5 g/l. Aqueous suspension is introduced into supersaturated aluminate solution. Obtained suspension is held for some time with stirring. Aluminium hydroxide is separated from mother liquor and washed. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg, 1 tbl
